This 6 hour course covers emergency first aid for babies and young children. 3 year certificate for successful candidates. By the end of the course candidates will be able to: -Understand the roles & responsibilities of a first aider -Assess an incident & conduct a primary survery -Help an infant or child who is unresponsive but breathing normally -Help an infant or child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally -Help an infant or child having a seizure -Recognise and assist a choking baby or child -Help a baby or child who is wounded, bleeding or in shock -Help an infant or child with head, neck or spinal injury -Help an infant or child with a break/fracture Free parking on street parking available.
